Women in Computer Science, abbreviated to WiCS (pronounced wicks) is a student-led organization at Diablo Valley College. Our purpose is to promote, support, and empower women majoring or interested in computer science on and off campus. We accept students of all genders to join our community and help us achieve our goals.

Our activities include:

  • Learn and do programming projects.
  • Explore stuff beyond DVC classes.
  • Mentorship for DVC's Computer Science classes.
  • Listen to guest speakers from the tech industry.
  • Go to hackathons together.
  • Organize DVC's premier hackathon: DVCHacks.
